For NA servers, the
Instructor's Divine Bell
on use Mastery Trinket is now available from a World Quest. This is the first time that it will be available for the majority of NA players and is very strong for specs that want Mastery such as Unholy Death Knights and Balance Druids!
While players of the Kyrian Covenant can get this trinket through other means, players of the other Covenants have been waiting for this trinket spawn on NA servers!

I mean it's pretty silly. I'm at over 200 ilvl right now and it rewards me a 158 trinket. At the very least I would have expected a mythic0 equivalent at 184 ilvl - still very far behind my current ilvl, but at least sensible - and instead it drops at normal dungeon level.
WQ has always been a stepping stone for gearing, nothing silly about it. blizzard wants you to graduate from WQ so it's fine given their intent
Indeed, world quest rewards are for new toons and "average" players who often don’t raid or attempt M+.
Except since WQ's are the rewards the biggest majority of WoW players receive, they should be worthwhile to do. Blizz keeps spending the majority of their time making content that only about 10% of the playerbase even sees. You would think maybe they would smarten up and instead of trying to force the other 90% of players into that content, maybe they should focus more time on effort on the content the majority of players actually play.
You got that backwards. The majority of the content in the game is casual friendly. Cov campaign, wqs, normal-m0 dungeons most likely even upto +7, lfr, torghast, the maw, arena skirmish and random bgs. The top 10% have high m+ keys, late heroic/mythic raids, rated arena and rated bgs.
