Balancing WPvP around cross-faction is pretty easy. Let's just do what any other game did - you are a mercenary, when you enable PVP you choose side to which you are selling your sword.WoW already has similar system with that one thing that allows you to que for a BG as the other faction.
Ion needs to be fired. Wow is becoming a hot garbage more and more each day.
I recently looked over some of my ilvl 130 alts from BFA and compared them to my 182 warrior and quickly found the issue with scaling and tuning and whatnot. While an item from say M+15 chest in BFA gives like 30haste and maybe 28crit, the itemlvl 184 stuff is just about 4-5% more stats but more than 50 itemlvl higher. Your character also needs three times the stats compared to a level 50 character. Great scaling on that gear.My friend's got a rogue mythic bfa equipped with ilvl 132ish. He just hammeres my warrior into the ground without any trouble. I need to pull every CD just to compete with him, while he's lolling and jumping around... being 10 level below me. This also applies to PvE Content. Technically a level 50 character would deal more damage to a mob than a level 60 character with equal gear, thanks to the low amount of stats that is on new raid and mythic dungeon gear and I cannot recall seeing this ever before. Not when TBC, WOTLK or any other expansion hit live. The gear you got always was a lot better than your raiding gear when you were close to capping again, this time I only switch my gear because I need the freaking itemlevel to even queue for heroic dungeons or to get accepted to PUGs.
uhuh, sure Ion, covenants are "successful" -_-ignore how people who want to multi-spec are completely fcked, such as DH who wanna go venthyr for havoc but kyrian for venge :/ and ya, ppl are indeed picking the most powerful covenant for their spec, just like people have always done and followed guides. Yet nah, blizzard thinks it's totally fine to force players to choose between aesthetics and power
