So idiotic. This better be a mistake and not Blizzard actually thinking people that roll Draenei don't want a horned silhouette
A pre expansion event should be a teaser for what to expect in the next expansion. If this is really what we're supposed to expect, then I'm glad I refunded Shadowlands.I'll hold off on resubbing for another few months. Maybe then I'll finally see something worth subbing for.
This looks ridiculous. Make it a toggle at least for people who like this homogenized abomination. Horns and ears don't fold in on themselves. It looks ridiculous. In lore these races have holes cut out in their armor and cloth for their extremities. There was never anything wrong with the clipping save for it just being lazy.
I think everyone who dislikes this change should report it as a bug for each helm they have that displays this behavior. To me, an item that showed horns suddenly not showing horns would be an unintended bug, and I will report it as such until it's fixed.
I wouldn't mind a toggle, TBH. Even without the clipping, some helms just look ridiculously stupid with the ears/horns protruding.A toggle solves the issue for the most part. You can either have them, or not, depending on how you want to look at the time.
this 100% needs to be a toggleable if it's intended :/
WHY? I mean, they are horns! They are hard. Doing that for ears I get it, but for Horns? Very weird
Hopefully it's just a bug. I actually like the clipping.
They should give the option to toggle the horns
is this optional? some of us want our horns poking out of our hoods and helms. it's an intentional look
I'd love to see this for Blood Elf eyebrows, yeah.
Ridiculous, again Blizzard show it's selfish ignorance. Do they even ask the community if we want something like this? I for one always found it more unique if my horns came out the helmet. Guess now i'll just have to go walk around as a human with hoofs.Make this a toggle option really.
Seems a bit silly, but who knows, maybe they're playing with the tech which will make it possible to have hair showing while wearing certain headpieces, and this is an unintended side effect. We can hope!
Sorry, but that is not a little change. That is not some minor inconvenience you can ignore. That is making dozens of helmets completely non viable to Draenei. We just got more customization just to have it hidden again without even making sense. The helmets are far smaller than the area which would've been covered by the horns. Now it's just empty. It looks like you don't even have horns in the first place. Why would I choose to pick a draenei if I don't want to see horns? The horns are one of the signature part of this race. The justification is laughable too. Avoid clipping? The horns were the least clipping thing of weapons, capes, backpacks and armor and even their own animations!I'm actually quite mad about it, because it ruins so many tmog possibilities without having an option to turn it on or off. I'm probably just unsubscribing until this is fixed because I can't stand this look and I don't want to be forced not to use helmets. I can just choose not play shadowlands if they force this last minute onto me. I was really happy and excited for shadowlands and this completely turned me off. I spend such a long time farming glamours just to get them all ruined in a quick update. It's such a badly justified unnecessary change that makes the game worse for me. And that should be allowed to say.
CHOICE.....give the player the choice to hide horns and ears. Odd that in an expansion with expanded personalization options they do this...lol
I don't like this, I do like that they are trying to combat clipping issues. This solution, however, sucks. I enjoy finding helmets that work with my Draenei's horns and reducing that number is unfortunate. If trying to negate each helms issue with each horn combination isn't an option(ie designing them around it), a toggle would be the least offensive option. a more pressing option for me would be to sort out worgen and tauren helm issues. :')
It's fine, just imagine your Draenei's horns have a threaded fitting for easy removal.(And how the heck do you put helmets if you have horns, anyway? Some sort of hinge would seem to be necessary).
