still the XP is really bad. I got 7 bars and we won the BG. I used Darkmoon Top Hat and Draught of Ten Lands. this is really %^&*y XP.
7/10 bars is still good since leveling decreased by 55-60%.
https://wow.gamepedia.com/Experience_BarIt's not 7/10. It's 7/20. So, that's 3.5 / 10. The BG gives you about tree fiddy. Tree Fiddy. Treefiddy.....
they should have just made the q normal instead of premade groups, woulda made it so much friendlier. its sorta frustrating to try and get in one and a deterrent to many to do it
The deterrent for me, on the Alliance side is, nobody was actually doing it like if you were to queue up for AV. They turtled their own base, did a terrible time enforcing the bridge that Horde whinged about forever, and then you get people just crying to let them take it. They seem perfectly happy to lose in the worst way possible, 20x in a row, for a mount. That's not how classic AV was. And the lag is something I never experienced in classic AV even with my worst computer.
Now fix the horrible scaling with gear. Having too many people under level 50 is the balance of winning or getting farmed at GY.. Bumping low levels to lvl 50 and setting item level to 70 is fine, but try fighting some1 with 115+ ilvl and you just get 1 shot. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE SET TO SAME ILVL! Between this and the XP nerf there is literally zero incentive for people under level 50 to do Korraks.
Since I am of the relatively small group of anti PvPers, who does want the mounts. I am curious that were I to join the BG and do the grind to obtain the items required for the achievement and mount. Is PvP actually required for any of it. ie do we have to kill people to get the "tokens" or is it strictly from a PvE perspective? Reading all the information on requirements from official posts and player comments is not clear on this. Like it was not clear, immediately, that the achievement had to be done in Classic.Alterac Valley is a BG but like Isle of Conquest the objective is to take out NPCs. Killing players is a "bonus."
The queue was only half the problem. It lags like crazy and the NPCs feel overtuned (which also seems to be the case in normal AV).
Excellent, now fix the damn ffxglow bug, please.
What fixed the lag for me: WOW Settings > System > Network - untick "Optimize Network for Speed". Might need to restart WoW, I didn't need to.
