So lazy on Blizzards part, was fun to break out those older legendary items for timewalking dungeons.
yay another change for the sake of changing, gotta pump up the size of that change list aimrite? otherwise how are they going to convince us they're actually doing a lot if the change list isn't 10 pages long, right?
Amanthul's Vision is still a pretty potent stat stick, 138 item level is almost the equivalent of a 485 piece.
Does that mean I won't be able to asplode everything in timewalking dungeons anymore? Oh well, I'll live without it i guess.
Another dumb change brought to you buy incompetent developers who can't even get a queue to work correctly
As someone who was lucky enough to get Aman'Thul's this really bothers me. For 1 it wasnt classified with the other legion legendarys meaning it didnt count towards the 2 legendary cap. Second thing that bothers me is the fact that the other pantheon trinkets still work which makes zero sense considering it was part of the Path of the Titans set, not the legion legendary set. It feels like ever sense blizzard started ruining twinking they've just been adding more and more grinds to the game to keep people busy. I spent so much time building twinks after raid nights only for them to be ruined in the next expansion. For me personally it really dissolves all past content in the game. The only reason any1 would still do it is to level alts or get transmog/mounts. With the way they add reused items to the game (tier sets from BC heroics from DMF for example) they may as well just remove entire expansions to cut down on data and keep adding items from those expansions back into current content.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
This was already a thing way back on the alpha release icyveins reported it then.
Good move, can't have ridiculous nonsense about with level 45s finding how to degen it up through some type of way much like corruption is going on now.
Well, no other way to do it really. Level scaling is 1-50 including Legion + BFA. So did people want them to 'stop at 25' yet timewalking still be scaled to 50?
For me this goes well and beyond the 'Fun Detected' sarcasm that has plagued BfA and past expansions, adding the Legacy tag to Legion Legendaries has a distinctly malicious feel to it. Aside from giving our alts a temporary stat/ability boost while leveling from 101-115, these items only really benefited Timewalking. We know some of the new Shadowlands items borrow from Legion effects but the only time they could ever be stacked together is during weekly Timewalking events and even then its a mystery why the devs would care in the first place. What can they possibly think people are going to farm from a bunch of 5-man dungeons or old raids using their prized antique equipment that only functions in those specially tailored instances? If there is a legitimate reason behind this change and not just some rambling thought about housekeeping old items or Ion once again telling us, the players, we don't want to use Legion Legendaries anymore, it would be nice to have some actual communication as to why this change is being made.
Rip if you built a speed set...I wonder how fast you'll still be able to farm/move with just the azerite speed trait and speed gems...
