If Tyrande didn't agree to a peace treaty then the alliance has no peace treaty. The alliance has no warchief that can decide these things.
Factions spergs are so annoying. I wish I could join team Maw. The Horde and the Alliance are the player base are just a bore now.
And once again Ion sticks to his guns...Why are you counterdesigning your own game against the most involved people? Why would you do that? It is not fun. I play wow because of the minmaxing. In Legion it was somewhat screwed but still fun... Class used to its maximum potential... Now they just are doing it worse than ever...BFA was bad Ion BECAUSE YOU ARE DESIGNING AGAINST THE PLAYERBASE THAT CARES.... Not because you designed it for a Player that literally does not care if he has all the abilities available to him or not. The player at normal does not care I agree. The HC player plays the spec he wants but already starts minmaxing... And the mythic player. Is screwed over once again because now either you have 4 of the same because ION YOU WILL rebalance it or ooooooooor If he wants to use his druids full potential he has to switch Spec and THEN switch covenant for an hour.Removed
Wow is an RPG. The changes comming are great for that.
NO blue eyed blood elves... Oh boy.....Forums are going to be lit today
So, the Jailer is... Apocalypse? Did they at least get Oscar Isaac to voice him again? ;)
Good choice regarding the blue eyes. Players on both sides of that debate should be ashamed of themselves; so much anger and vitriol gets spewed when that subject comes up, it's unbelievable. Leaving it like it is seems like the best course IMO.BC ruined two of my favorite characters, Illidan (who had his big comeback story in Legion) and Kael'thas, who I really thought would never get another chance. I believed this expansion was going to lose my interest with no new class, but just the hope that they might rehabilitate his character will get me in line. I'm honestly curious if Kael'thas would feel more at home these days with the Light loving, Horde joining Blood Elves that he knew and loved once upon a time, or with the Void Elves? There is a pretty good argument that the Void Elves, in many ways, fill the original fantasy of the Blood Elves before the redemption of the Sunwell; toying with dark magic, pursuing forbidden knowledge, relatively amoral, etc. Plus, even if he was willing to rejoin the Blood Elves as part of the Horde, would the Blood Elves even have him back? It's interesting.I get it, he's dead and any interaction we have with him in this expansion will likely just be confined to that. But it's fun to think about. As for who won BFA, let's take a tally.Horde losses - Sylv, Saurfang, Vulpera joined, Nathanos still exists, Calia changing the UndeadHorde victories - Teldrassil burned, Mag'har orcs, upright orcs, Zandalari, Golden Eyes Blood Elf customizationAlliance losses - Teldrassil burned, Mechagnomes, Kul Tirans pretty lame, lost Calia, Night Warrior customizationAlliance victories - Undercity sacked, Dark Iron DwarvesAll in all, especially as it relates to substance and not memes, Horde lost more but gained more. Alliance remained closer to its status quo, except for the Night Elves who were absolutely pummeled. To the point that I think somebody writing outright hated them for some reason. If we're strictly evaluating it as a conflict and not as an expansion analysis, then I'd say Sylvanas lost, "her" Horde lost, but THE Horde won just as much as the Alliance won. That was Anduin's approach to the conflict from the beginning, so it's hard to say he achieved a more total victory than that.
"They plan on continuing seasonal affixes -- yet to design it yet but they want to design it"....wait what?
Blue-eyed Blood Elves are not planned to be character customization, just textures for NPCsI cant stop laugh. Now looking for horde to make fun. It is our turn.
Them saying they've learned that people will pay increasing costs to change azerite and used it on convenants definitely scares me. Reforging was 100% crap and should never have been a thing. It should never have been that hard to play multiple specs on your classes.
Good to know no blue eyed belves. Actually very good :)
Alliance was decimated by Sylvanas yet they didn't got justice: No they didn't won. Warfront zones were originally alliance zone so they just got back their territory. Horde was led to a massacre by their warchief and she left them: So no, they didn't won either.Horde and Alliance signed a treaty. Because both of them lost against Sylvanas. And did Sylvanas won? Of-course she did. She poured enough souls into the maw and tear apart the veil between life and death. She's the ultimate winner of BFA storyline.
Tyrande did not stop her war against the Horde. So, I'm as Night Elf player on Alliance side, or on my race side?
I do understand your point. But the entrance difficulty for a new player is not I repeat not aliviated by this. You hurt your subs and especially your dedicated yearlong players more than the ones who just wanna dip a toe into it.I repeat Johny awesome who just started will decide on the covenant he wants by just clicking the one he likes. Imagine him getting into raiding. and suddendly he ends up in Mythic. Or someone who wants to play Mythic but now starts to realize that he has the completely wrong covenant the completely wrong soulbind build and so on and so on... You are making this barrier between high end players and "normal players" that much bigger. This is not how it should work.We should be able to engage with the community we should be able to say, hey new guy look Mythic requires you to do x amount of stuff besides WoW like learning how to sim and so on and so on... but then also screw your RP in the MMORPG because your best Covenant/Soulbind combo is for most scenarios and the niche your class/spec excells at is lets say Night-fae.The Mythic community isnt some Expelled form of wowplayers its the most dedicated bunch. RWF is the WoW event of the year after just four outings. They were alone and now we have three sponsored teams. Limit, Method and the new kids on the block Pieces. They saved so much of BFA for me. Imagine a new player trying to get there... No chance and with the Covenants being now this barrier it will be even harder.I dont say dont let there be a choice. I say make it visual bind some other desicion to your character and accept the fact that wow has become more than an RPG. It has become more than that and instead of always trying to ignore it please for godsake listen to the mainstream of the highly involved community instead of knowing it better anyways. Azerite Armor was a desaster a huge desaster and they just said... well screw you we stop you from being optimal... Explain me why it has to be impossible to be optimal?
