somehow things just never seem to stay dead, do they. :P
ofc they are not dead... they want to use them on future patch because luck of imagination.. Half of the bosses we doing they have same abils with older bosses :)
I thought Argus' Titan power was rezing demons, so without him they don't come back. And I got the impression from in game text that we were just beating back the old gods. Yogg's still in Ulduar, poking up tentacles and doing whispers, iirc. Contrast with Y'shaarj being dead, and killing it had caused too much damage. I expect the point is they're putting the Old Gods on the back burner for an expansion (or half).
Schrödinger Old Gods...
very interesting article
I really want to see more old gods in their full form honestly. Seems like it would be a lot of fun.
I'm just commenting to enter the contest at this point. So yeeaaaaaaah, will Deathwing be in Shadowlands? Will he become an old god eventually?
Keeping it open-ended makes sense.
"I'm just saying death isn't the end of the line in World of Warcraft, and it really never has been."I really hoped that WoW's lore would veer away from how Superhero comics are structured where death is meaningless but alas, here we are. Pity.
I'm always glad to hear this sort of thing, because the Old Gods have long been one of my favorite parts of the WoW mythos. I think we took care of N'Zoth way too quickly, but Xal'atath is still out there, and it'd be interesting if an entirely new one showed up.
Well, YOU keep coming back. Why should everything else be permanently dead? 😉
So killing is only removing them from our own perspective ?
Interesting speculation. Would be cool to see where Titans and Old Gods go.
isn't shadowlands predate the old gods? If predate i highly doubt they're dead
