There has to be a lot more to this because this seems dramatically more RNG than titanforging which they know people want to get away from. Also most of the negative effects are basically impossible to mitigate as a tank, so I'm not sure what the plan is there.I imagine we'll see a lot more customization and counters before it's released.
I have to say that so far in the PTR all effects are great, and while it reads like its tedious, i tell yall, depending on how the game gives you its better to start with *!@# corruption levels. Having a full 25 gear is not good due being oneshotted by almost everything
I am hopeful they will offer at least 2 types of cleansing.Option 1: Remove the corruption and the bonus effect (and any associated ilvl bonus), for free (or near free) - If I get an item that increases the amount of my worse stat but has super high corruption. I'd rather have the item free of any effects. All the effort for loot only to have it be worse than a lower ilvl piece because of corruption would be bad...Option 2: Remove the corruption but keep the bonus, and have it be costly, or a quest to get items that are required to do the cleansing, or some such thing that takes some effort.
Can't wait for Asmon to complain for 40 minutes about this.
Complexity * (RNG ^ RNG).Just what everyone always wanted.
this is just ridiculousPlayers: please just remove the 10 layers of rng on gearBlizzard: how about 50 layers
Soo this is suppose to be better than Titanforge? THIS? Thank you Titanforge whiners...
Can I exalt orb the corrupted item? Oh wait, that's another game rite?At least blizz is copying a good one this time.
Just play BM. Chances are it's not working on pets, just like much of the Benthic Gear.
This seems, for now, by far the worse loot mechanics ever. Too much RNG involved, for a not so sure worth upgrade.
