Awesome !
I'm liking this one a lot. It looks way better than what you currently get from typing /camp
I belieeeeve the explosion, if actually something that will stick around, it meant to 'tear down' the camp, and it currently is not despawning it. I am not sure how I feel about it, but it was really hilarious to log in after PTR first came up and watch all the Vulpera going BOOM, BOOM, BOOM, BOOM in a giant pile. Also, small detail, your character is left smoking for around 10 seconds afterwards. Now, I don't feel quite like this fits Vulpera as a whole, but it's amusing in its own right.
Wish they could be Druids.
Actually, you can't use it as a hearthstone or plan long distance trips with it because the camp only lastst 5 minutes. Seems to me this is more like a racial fluff version of the cooking fire. Especially since the Return to Camp has a 1h cooldown, so you can't use it to say...do quick rounds of questst and return for hand-in whenever you aren't near an inn, for example.
YES !immersive tools and items for roleplay would be quite appreciated.
I'm sad to read some players ONLY thinking about game mechanics (to be quick) or griefing. They don't care about nice artwork, animation, an immersive world, ambiance or whatever. Like they have no feeling, only scoring.
I hope that 5 minute duration isn't a thing, or gets changed ASAP.It makes the ability a worse version of the Warlock's return-to-location ability. While it doesn't have a range limitation, you're not going to get far in 5 minutes and with a 1 hour cooldown it's definitively less versatile.
Yes, that's what we need a racial that causes explosions that can be spammed. That won't be abused at all.
Wait what? It's not 5 mins to use return to camp. The camp might despawn after 5 mins, but you still return to wherever you set your camp up.
AND the camp gives rested xp like a proper inn, this seems a bit too good to pass up, will definitely be rolling one of these guys
I have a feeling the explosion (and smoking vulpera) is a reference to Wyle E Coyote? Since they've made this reference in Vol'dun at least once before.
If you walk inside the tent, do you get rested status? because that would be awesome.
My guess that explosion is place holder and the back pack will have another use in the future. However I do want to report the campfire in your camp is not just for show you can actually cook with it.
