We've added some more Night Elf reaction quotes, thanks to everyone who helped compile them!
If possible, can you make a post for the potential future of other faction leaders? One thing that sticks out to me is the fate of Gallywix. He wasn't there for Saurfang's funeral.Instead, it is Gazlowe who's in charge of cleaning up the mess.I wonder what would be the fate of other leaders as well.
I do remember Gallywix at the funeral. He even talked about griefing as a waste of time for goblins. On the other hand, there is a hint for Calia Menethil as the new leader of the Forsaken in a questline.
He was besides Geyah, the leader of the Mag'har. She said she followed Sylvanas blindly and learned about true leadership from Saurfang's sacrifice. Both were on the right side of the tomb.
And where is Velen?
I noticed Tyrande not being there right away. But there were also other leaders not at Orgimmar who seem to be overlooked. Velen was not at Orgimmar and neither was any of the Dwarven leadership. I did not come across any npc discussions concerning them either.*I guess Velen did give up his title as prophet, and returned to Argus.
so... i just realized.. who told Lor'themar and Shandris to call off the Attack from the North gate of Orgrimmar?
lol i know right, Moira, the Light Forged, Y'rel Grommash... I mean we could go on and on and on...
There is dialogue from some of the night elf refugees in Stormwind. They're not happy with how the Alliance has handled this:Darnassian Refugee: Sometimes, I can still smell the smoke. I can feel the heat of the flames on my skin.Darnassian Refugee: It still feels like a nightmare to me. That I might one day wake in my bed in Darnassus. Darnassian Refugee: I cannot bear the thought that Sylvanas remains free. After what she did to us...Darnassian Refugee: Trust in the Night Warrior. She will see justice done...even if the Alliance does not.^That exchange of dialogue came from the night elf refugees next to the bridge between the Trade District and Mage Quarters in Stormwind.
Essentially, Blizzard wants to push the narrative that Sylvanas and Sylvanas alone (maybe Nathanos too) is to blame for what the Horde has done. They've even made Night Elf npcs pin it all on Sylvanas. Pretty gross, imo.I thought we learned decades ago that "I was just following orders." is not an excuse for participating in atrocities and major war crimes.
Tyrande will become evil. That is obviously.
While I, of course, keep in mind that Blizzard loves to destroy the Night Elves, I doubt they will go with evil Tyrande, because this will mean that almost every other night elf character is evil. Malfurion? Maiev? In this case they will have to do something with them.
I am also very sure, Tyrande is going to be "evil" in the future. The way Blizzard is handling the Kaldorei is again nothing but poorly written. Sure, Tyrande doesn't respond to any messages since she left for Darkshore, how she obviously had time to go to Stormwind in order to be a part of the ship's christening for the Kul Tirans while here people were fighting against the blighting Horde soldiers. The completely unfinished Darkshore situation, the interview statement saying the Kaldorei got their vengeance - even though nothing happened. The whole Teldrassil story, after being really plotted out prior BfAs release, is now being downplayed completely and it's more than obvious now this wasn't about the (tragedy of) Night Elves, but rather than boosting the character plots of Sylvanas and Saurfang. Now these are done, Teldrassil get's pushed back into meaningless.Everthing considered, why should happen anything "good" for the Night Elves now? It simply won't happen. As much as they are talking about not losing hope ingame, I, as Kaldorei player since Vanilla, lost hope anything good will come out of the recent events for this race.
btw there was 4 Night Warriors in the scenario near Shanrise Feathermoon.
