I recommend Logitech over Razer, 100%. Had a couple Razer's break too quickly. Meanwhile Logitech's G300 mouse lasts me 3 times a long, for a 1/3 the price. It does only have 5-6 buttons (depending if you want to have a profile changer button), but that's more than plenty imo. You can still set it up in game so a shift + mouse button does another macro.
You should have included Druid forms since they're similar to stances. I don't have a Naga, but my mouse is virtually identical to one. I have all of my forms, as well as the /cancelform macro, on my mouse. It makes it incredibly fluid to change between forms.
I went through one Razer Death Adder and two Razer Nagas before I got fed up and tried the Logitech G600. This has been serving me very well and is less than half the cost of the Razer mice. I've come to the conclusion that you don't get better quality for the higher price point of Razer, nor do they make up for it with a better warranty. I've never been able to get my mice replaced with them.
UtechSmart Venus is where it's at.
I use a logitech g600 - the g shift button does stick at times, and this persists through replacement, but besides that, it's turned me away from being a clicker so I'm happy with it
I have never used a Razor Naga mouse. I mainly use Logitech products such as the G600 mouse which is just very similar to the mouse featured here. It has been a great mouse to use with World of Warcraft, I am able to program up to 29 commands with it. I recently though had to a warranty replacement just because the left mouse button started malfunctioning due to wear, otherwise it has been a great mouse to use with World of Warcraft! Now that Classic has been released, deciding how to maximize its use with it.
I don't recommend a razor naga. I had 2 wired ones. One I had for a year and it ended up dying the other the same but for a year and a half. I currently have a perdition red dragon lite mouse and it's still working after 3 years of use.
Whoa, everyone really is trying to get in on the Classic hype, eh?Haven't had a WoW related Razer campaign in what seems like forever.
I prefer my Corsair 12 button setup, and throw in another set of binds for SHIFT + button as well. More than I need when I also use some nearby key binds.
My Razer Diamondback lasted for years and years. When I got more into MMOs I decided to get a Razer Naga Hex, despite having heard a lot of negative stuff about Naga from my friends. That was a mistake, it broke in less than two years. Now I have a Logitech G600 and it lasted for a few years already.
Razer is the best mouse you will use for 3 months, maybe 6. That's how long they last.
You need to add in somewhere that this mouse is for small handed people
Recommend a multi button mouse for sure, but I've had a ton of problems with Razer mice. From the infamous scroll wheel and double click shennanigans, to them just up and dying.... I loved the original Hex but the new one is manufactured so poorly the buttons just get stuck and feel flimsy. I'd happily buy Razer again if they'd fix these issues...but until then no thanks, plenty of other better options.
How is this news? This is just an add.
I buy my Logitech G600 in 2012 and still run with it. Just replaced right and left switches.
The one thing i'd looove to see some day would be a guide for the left-handed....I'm a lefty that has the mouse on the left side of the keyboard (obviously) and always encounter problems with the keybindings. In the end I usually don't bother and end up hearing that I'm a clicker - i.e. I move with the arrows and use the mouse to click my many many pretty buttons. But i'm always wondering if I could somehow find an equivalent to asdw for left-handed and somehow start using numeric shortcuts as well. Maybe not so important in WoW but Overwatch, Heroes of the storm definitely.
I have a logitech G13 for my MMO button needs. Though I've used traditional keyboards with gaming keys as well in the past, the G13 allows a thumbstick and 24 keys all of which can be pressed by touch. In practice I have the thumb buttons bound to shift and alt, thumb stick on movement, jump/crouch on mouse buttons, leaving me 22 action bar slots plus shift and alt.On the wow side I use a modified bartender4 to show the correct grid layout. BT4 also handles shift states for the entire bar, meaning pressing shift or alt activates a different action bar page, and I can drag/drop spells into those bars as I would normally. This is much more convenient than writing macros which trigger different spells based on shift state.
