Mark of the Crane Management
Your
Palma do Tigre,
Chute Blecaute, and
Chute do Sol Nascente spells apply Mark of the Crane to the target they damage. This increases the damage of your
Chute Giratório da Garça by 10% per stack. During
Tempestade, Terra e Fogo your spirits will jump to targets without Mark of the Crane when you cast these aforementioned spells automatically. They will also never jump to your target either. This means you can tag 3 enemies per global spent during
Tempestade, Terra e Fogo. In Battle for Azeroth the maximum amount of Mark of the Crane stacks you can have active has been capped at 5. This makes our AoE significantly weaker than Legion but also simpler to manage. You want to maintain as many Mark of the Crane stacks as there are enemies you are fighting making sure to refresh the lower duration debuffs before they fall off.
You want to prioritize
Punhos da Fúria in AoE but keep in mind
Punhos da Fúria is a frontal cone so keep an eye on your spirits positioning. You then want to use
Soco Giratório do Dragão immediately unless you are trying to perform the SEF Cancel Bug (mentioned later) and will not lose a cast of
Soco Giratório do Dragão in that encounter. From that point on you are trying to
Chute Giratório da Garça every other global and use it as a filler in AoE until
Punhos da Fúria comes off cooldown once again. The target threshold for when you start using
Chute Giratório da Garça over
Chute do Sol Nascente damage wise is 3 stacks 3 targets or 4 stacks 2 targets. This does not have in mind if there is a priority target you are trying to kill this is just for overall damage.
Here are a few examples of Windwalker AoE:
Utilizing the SEF Cancel Bug properly
First of all, What is the SEF Cancel Bug? The SEF Cancel Bug is during the last .1-.2 seconds of
Tempestade, Terra e Fogo if you cast a spell such as
Soco Giratório do Dragão. The spell will be cast and then the buff of
Tempestade, Terra e Fogo on your character which splits the damage into each of the 3 spirits fades which results in a brief moment of where each of the 3 spirits can do 100% damage instead of 45% each resulting in a 300% damage spell cast instead of 135%. This is most commonly utilized with
Soco Giratório do Dragão since it is the easiest and most useful to pull off consistently. More than likely you will average about 1-2 hits of
Soco Giratório do Dragão where each spirit is doing the full damage but if you perform it correctly you can get all 3 hits. It largely depends on timing and the positioning of the spirits relative to where you are standing. Additionally you can use this trick with any Windwalker Spell (
Chute do Sol Nascente, Last 1-2 ticks of
Punhos da Fúria are notable examples) as long as you cast the spell in the very brief window where the damage is increased.
Here is a Demonstration and Video Example of the Bug
