I love it! Is it stone or grey?
Another store mount from a event wich could have been it's own reward for Lunar festival. Games like Hots/Ow give these event things for free.
Not sure why people think paying over $90 for 6 months of gametime will get them a "free" mount... You just bought a mount for $90....
Not going to lie i would totally buy this mount from the store just for the quality meme factor that will follow it ... Yes when pigs fly, hang on let me get my mount out ... Funny as
don't care if it's a shop mount I want it.
well played.
If only there were obtainable mounts in-game.
Sad to see so much defenders of shop mounts. Oh well just buy it, ride it a few weeks/months and then never use it anymore because deep down it doesn't feel earned anyway so gg for giving them free money.
Never understood why people cry so much about the shop. Its not loot crates where you dont know what you are getting. And they do not effect game play....so who cares? If you dont like it, pretend it is not there and see how easy it is for it to not bother you. For myself, if i were going to spend money on it, I would expect the items to be pretty premium. Thus far most of the stuff on the shop is/has been pretty lame so I rarely touch them. how about some super sexy premium leatherkinnis. most leather out fits are terrible.
Sounds like someone's mad they can't afford shop mounts, so they pretend that their existence is an utter plague on the game. Riiiiiiight.
The issue is not the mount itself. If your argument is that you don't mind supporting the developers with €20 because it's nothing, or you can buy it with a token, then you're completely missing the point. (Btw you have to buy two tokens for it, so somebody paid €40 for your mount. You get it for "free" and they get twice as much real money for it.)You're not supporting the developers or the game at Blizzard, it's the opposite. You're supporting the marketing and business people at Activision who are leading the game to a very bad direction. They forced the game out basically in beta state and the developers struggle to keep up. Just listen what Ion said about why we didn't have the kultirans and zandalari allied race sooner, they didn't have time. There's a lot more example, you know it anyway if you played since the release of BFA.If you just buy everything starting from the "see you later bundle" to the half year of subcription without real content just for a mount, things will never change. A lots of people stopped playing since the expansion started. They don't know how to fix it, or they don't want to give the developers the required time to fix it, so they go for the easiest way to get the missing income, because that's just as good. They start charging the remaining player base for more and more things that should be in the game as a reward for playing. The newest addition will be the toys.Still people just see a mount and think "oh that's cool, I want that" and don't think about the consequences. It's a huge mistake, possibly stopping them from thinking about bigger decisions that would lead to a better player experience. Why bother if they can just cut costs and still have the profit from microtransactions? I'm guilty too, bought the fox mount for example, but we really shouldn't support this.
The sad thing is the death of a barnyard metaphor. We can no longer say that Blizzard/Activision will be generous to its loyal subscribers when pigs fly. When the cows come home seems far too wishy-washy. In any case whenever I look at the available mounts from the Bilzzard Store and contemplate my limited income I always feel "plucked".
