I really wouldn't wanna be them lol
Damn, that's brave. But to be fair, this is a chance to calm down the community quite a bit, if done smart. We'll see.
Ask them about the 75% dislike ratio on the survival guide
inb4 everyone and their brothers posts their questions here instead of where they belong and will be read...
This is interesting! Look forward to them answering some questions
soooooo devs here my questions.1. In Legion dev Q&A for 7.2 blizzcon, you had said the next xpac will be heavy in dragons and dragonflights(refering to bfa), what happened with that? so far the story is horde vs alliance yada yada yada while they ignore the big problem, that the planet is dying, once again. and 8.1 is not alot of story besides alliance raid the zandalar troll capital and theres a battle in darkshore. 8.2 is nazjatar and hinted at N'zoth ( i doubt we fight him but next xpac leads to him)2.In legion we got a chromie scenario were we were lvl 120 and SOMETHING OR SOMEONE wants chromie dead so she cant help us time travel which leads to caverns of time or bronze dragonflight possibly infinate dragonflight being a big part of bfa yet we get no story on it even up to 8.2 unless bfa will go up to 8.8 or something which is unlikely since BFA patches are alot slower than Legion, Legion had big story arcs nearly every 77 days aka 2 months n 17-18 days while bfa is close to 5months with a tiny story arc in the first major patch. So do you estimate that BFA is a 3-6 year xpac? If not, did you forget about Chromie and did you scrap the big caverns of time and dragonflights content of bfa?3. Theory, what if chromie sends us back in time via caverns of time to fight the black empire while it was in power of azeroth, or even to go in time and prevent the old gods from ever infecting Azeroth which would introduce new future lore on Azeroth when we get back from time traveling since all the changes tht would occur if old gods never infected, what would illidan be, arthas, deathwing......
They need to hit it out of the park with this one and not just dance around the issues.
I wish it wouldn't be with just Ion. I love hearing his perspective but give some other devs a chance to weigh in as well. Also, I think they should choose the questions and work on the answers in advance and have a little bit more polish on the Q&A stream. For instance, maybe Lore could work out the pronunciation of names before the Q&A.
I want to hear Alex Afrasiabi. He is my last hope at the moment.
Can you hire again, Christ Metzen, "Ghostcrawler", etc and fire Ion, Goldie, etc...? Please.A lot of people are complaining the current state of the game, even of the company...
Sweet! Now we can all sit and pray for answers that we won't get and seethe at the sheer wealth of non-answers and cyclical BS we get. I used to look forward to these. Now? Just a reason to do a shot everytime he dodges a question like Neo dodges a bullet.
In all honesty ever since those Q&A started back in Legion I followed them with some kind of interest, last few ones however barely answer anything relevant. Questions about one and the same topics and almost nothing of relevance to add/discuss. I like how Ion handles himself and somehow manages to come in front of us, given the bad feedback the expansion has received so far, it's kind of admirable even. However... he mostly twists and turns words, stretches explanations/answers needlessly (at least it looks like that to me), sounding more like a lawyer or a politician. I realize keeping every aspect of the playerbase happy is IMPOSSIBLE, and he has to be veeeeeeery careful with how he chooses, but c'mon...
I will give Ion credit: He is brave to stand in front of a hostile audience.
But they never really answer the "real" questions that has most of us very upset !
