was asking myself the same thing.
The tailoring anti-daze spellthread only prevents dazing while you're walking/running, not while you're mounted (it even says it in the tooltip now). So it's working as intended :(
Yeah this was a pretty mediocre post from WoWhead/Method..
The hell did i just watch? some dude playing a mythic with voice over? this is the most lazy content i have ever seen in all my life...why are no good creators featured on this site? Preach? MrGM? WoWAholics101? BellularGaming? you know people that put work into their videos?
Is this an out of season April fool's joke?
Ugh. Was hoping there would be some secret I didn't know about that would make my professions useful. Alas, still useless. One of these years, blizz needs to add a craftable recipe to each profession at max level that would be at least on par or preferably better than raid loot. Sucks to be chipping away at a profession all expansion long, knowing that reaching the finish line only means being able to craft gear 30 levels lower than what I've already got. Doesn't feel worth it, especially given how labor intensive professions have become.
Still I don't see how professions are useful for anything but making gold, especially when sockets are a random titanforging effect. ilvl 300 - 310 items are SO useful, yeah. Before BFA came out, Blizzard were telling us that professions will do items of the same ilvl as normal raid gear. Actually, this is still not enough. I remember how in WOTLK, Cata, MOP we had high ilvl recipes. Even in WOD professions were more useful than in both Legion and BFA. Making gold or having some insignifacnt perks - don't mean professions are useful. Professions have to be an alternative and additional way of gearing up and customizing your character.
All these comments are literally like going to yahoo.com for your email and crying that you had to read the sports news first because the link was thereNo.. you don’t. You just don’t click the link if you don’t want to read it..
I'd find it helpful for the Rogue spec pages under consumables to include a quality of life/questing link to the item, Thistle Tea under potions or a new section. These have saved me a great deal of time with questing/open world activities in general. They can be purchased in your guild hall once you've unlocked it in Legion from the Spymaster, Jenri and they only cost 1 silver and 20 copper a piece.
Professions are still useful! As long as those professions are Alchemy and Herbalism.
I appreciate this post. But I really enjoy the negative attitude people blindly yell about professions being useless. I would prefer if less people knew how to make gold that way I can make more.
the video was a giant summary of information regarding quality of life crafting items, with shoddy voice over some irrelevant gameplay, clickbaity title, which would imply there's some secret way of making gold off of crafting professions currently, and a glimpse of even more items which are going to be added in the upcomming patch 8.1I get that Method makes the dough wowhead sells the bread, but before you do, at least taste it
Not saying everyone have it good, but have you seen jewelcrafting? Really, its pityful. At least bs has the item level. jewelcrafting's highest ilvl item is 300. Yes, we have gems, but we ONLY have gems, and the only useful ones are super expensive to craft. For instance, it takes me roughly 100 ore to get one single Kraken's Eye, which is arguably the only thing that matters on the profession. (also if anyone has anything to say about that, please do, i'm desperate to find something useful about JC)
what a bad CLICKBAIT to promote a terrible video beause someone is to lazy to WRITE UP an article....about time you can downvote "articles"....
They ruined professions for the last 3 expansions, it was useful before for your character to invest time and sometimes money in it because you'd get some actual bonuses for you character, they got rid of all of it. Legion was a caricature because you had endless profession quests for no tangible rewards, it was ridiculous. I mean tailors could craft saddle blankets that would do NOTHING, just a 8 hour buffs doing absolutely nothing, wth ?Now we don't have any quests and it's still useless. The tailoring spellthreads still don't workThe wrist enchantments still don't work.Expulsom is almost useless, recycling work against enchanters (the idea behind is good though). hydrocores nobody uses them and you don't get them if you do relevant content. Tailoring, blacksmith, leatherworking can't craft anything relevant. Sanguicell don't get me started on it, they just sit in the bank, they have to make a cooking recipe next patch using regents from a previous raid to find a use for it.Right now you almost need to have herbalism and alchemy or have a reroll for it because potions are so expensive and anchorweed are so rare, they need to reduce drastically the comp for consumables. Or yeah, you can be enchanter, the rest is useless.
Blizzard needs to take a look at other MMOs and how they use professions. FF14 nailed it.
