SIN rogue? WTF?
Sounds better than calling it an 'Ass Rogue', I guess?
They can type "Windwalker" fully but Assassin is to hard to type... Good job.
Lol at tank representation. But Blizzard stays in denial... This expansion has by far the worst class balance ever!Yet so far I see very little to no changes coming for Warrior or Druid tanks in 8.1...
Let's not give buffs to all classes, they said, that'll work fine, they said. Yes, let's just give the buffs to classes that would get taken anyway, that'll work out super well. We don't want to make classes too same-y. It's okay, you guys, you'll get taken to raid anyway! Or, er, not.(Yes, I'm aware this post is about mythic, and I'm aware of the extreme class stacking requirements inherent in the world first race. Alas, the combo generated by their failing at class design and their general inability to design fights that aren't melee unfriendly means the same issue happens basically everywhere else in the game, only slightly less severely. And I am very salty still about the class buffs thing in particular.)
Ctrl + f: priest. Results: 0. D:
I prefer "Sass" for assassin.
They really threw "bring the player not the class" out the window.
Nice seeing paladins so well represented. It feels good to be useful. Oh wait...
The Xalzaix interaction with DoTs seems like a bug to me, but since Blizz hasn't "fixed" it I guess it's intended? The fact that not one single Raid Designer thought about the ramifications of having adds up all the time on the Zul fight just blows my mind. Sub Rogues have been able to damage funnel for a while now with large groups of adds into ST damage. Uninformed designers?G'huun silence mechanic on orbs just shows some of these end-tier Mythic bosses were never tested internally in a proper manner. When you NEED four Lock gates to deal with a mechanic shows again the lackluster commitment to internal testing the current Dev team has. This goes double for Fetid, who was literally impossible before the second nerf without drastically over-gearing the fight.
I certainly appreciate the observations and insights provided by this post. As someone who didn't play rogue, the information on "Damage Funneling" was quite helpful. The details on mythic raid melee spots and spread mechanics are quite useful for raiders that haven't done mythic yet.
