Disappointing Nathanos didn't die here.Though given the recent revelations that Nathanos is actually a self insert of one of The Devs it's not too surprising.
It turns out there are a lot more characters other than Gelbin with P.L.O.T. A.R.M.O.R.
really like everything until the final confrontation.how in this universe or in any nathanos could even stand a chance against regular tyrande?they make it look like tyrande was stronger before being the night warrior.THIS IS HORRIBLE HOLY %^&*, and they say that the alliance are the mary sues?incredible amount of plot armor of nathanos, such a generic,thrash,1 dimensional villain who never grow or change or face consequences for his actions and who has been the same dude for like more than a decade? and why he is so OP?he make look medan like a character written by g.r.r martin.and also, he is a self insert, so not real surprises here.and she only kills one valkyr, fails to save sira, fails to stop them from being resurrect?this is probably the worst thrash that blizzard has ever written.also, i really like maiev, i will headcannon that she cares about the kaldorei and her crimes are forgotten for now.
They don't even kill Belmont there? He is just petrified so he can be saved later....This was really disappointing, it accomplishes really nothing and you barely save anyone sadly. The night elves lose a lot though with all those night elves joining for forsaken as undead. Not only that but Tyrande couldn't even fight Nathanos with whatever the night warrior thing was. She looked weaker than ever and needed to be saved. It's another huge blow to the night elves.
Cool, another "ha ha! you hurt me but I'm going to escape! See you later!"
Wonder if the night warrior options will work with demon hunters?
So to sum it up, despite what was said specifically in the book the alliance divide because they can't help the night elf. They go full edge, fail.Go even edgier than Illidan "you're definitely not prepared" Stormrage and to the surprise of absolutely no one still fail (but it's okay we killed a val'kyr woohoo victory !), all for being able to kill more night elf in the form of the new dark rangers, dark warden and dark whatever they will raise. On top of that we get asspulled ritual to become an avatar of elune (that can't beat a regular undead with P.L.O.T armor) out of nowhere that was conveniently forgotten every time the night elf would had truly needed it and more FREE WILL undead that make 360° so they can obey every order of those that slaughtered not only them but also their brothers and sister. (but it's okay because Elune abandoned them, so it's alright if they just jump to slaughter any surviving night-elf). Don't worry , for completing this master piece you'll be able to get an awful customization that makes no sense given the context. (unless everyone suddenly become Tyrande)Were the devs too lazy to imagine a real forsaken counterparts for the night elf commander outside of "let's just make a undead recolor of the night elf and call it a day" ? The only thing i'm thankful about all of this nonsense is that those edge warriors aren't an AR.
I really only have one line of questions that's been burning a hole in my need to plan since I first heard of this:What are the extent of the customizations? It is just the eyes on all the standard faces? Is it the eyes on new faces? Is there a skin tone? Are there hair colors? Icy veins mentioned 18 new customization variants and posted pictures of black hair on a non hero class nightelf. I know black can be done if you include "NPC options" in the WoWhead dressing room, and I need to know if we're getting black hair options for non hero classes! Icy veins might just be full of it so I'm asking here.
They could just make the val'kyr sacrifice herself for Nathanos, it would actually be cool.At least those final lines where Maiev and Tyrande actually say they're on good terms with each other was exactly the type of fanservice I was craving for. Great women doing great things together.
In a horde quest in the war campaign. It is said becoming undead changes you.Since Sira was already questioning Elune before, maybe she already doubted Elune and Tyrande for not doing anything. And becoming undead was the final nail.
What a surprise, Night Elves getting the short end of the stick yet again. Great writing!
Nathanos lives? Pffffft. All of these "girl power" messages pervading media nowadays and yet... some moderately skilled undead human ranger is able to elude an ultra-powerful Priestess who ascended to Super Saiyan Night Warrior and a millennia year old seasoned Warden who tracked Illidan across the universe?I was skeptical before, but now there's no way that dude isn't a self-insert.
I'll be more than happy to fight the Horde in Darkshore. FOR THE ALLIANCE!
Oh thank god Belmont survives. LMAO even Nathanos soloing Tyrande with her super saiyan goddess ritual is still funny even on the Alliance side.
I'm sorry, but this is abhorrent writing. From Tyrande becoming weaker even with this "Wrath of Elune", Night Warrior stuff and getting her behind handed to her by a simple Undead ranger, and from Nathanos's horrible plot armor, I feel like the writing is just getting worse and worse. It's honestly very upsetting to see, since I'm usually a big fan of the lore. I really can't keep defending it when there's silly decisions thrown in left and right.
nope, still can't get past those black blue, soulless eyes....
