I see so many people complain about the problem, and then they get an answer they don’t like. And guess what, more complaining follows because they only see what they wanna see. If you think you can solve the problem faster, more efficiently and all around better than Blizzard devs can, then go apply for a job there and start making the changes. I promise you it’s not as easy as you think it is to completely have to rewrite code if or find the errors in the coding to solve the issues that you are complaining about. Oh wait, y’all just want everything handed to you on a silver platter as if the game isn’t easy enough already. So what if you have to spend some extra time into the game. You pay for it for a reason right? Just play the game and have fun.
Synesterwolf, that Still doesn't Address At ALL The fact that we Don't have any Real Proof of Progressing in our classes in a Game Marketed as an mmoRPG. We've Stopped Getting Talents, We've Stopped Getting Abilities, We've stopped getting Tier Sets (Which are based around our Classes, Unlike Azerite Armor), We've Lost our Artifacts, and Our Class/Spec specific Legendaries have stopped working past 115, with No New ones billed on the Horizon ever again. No The ONLY THING we have, that We're Stuck with for the Forseeable Future is a System that Homogenizes the Game, When For the LONGEST Time, they've said they want to Push Away from Homogenization............ Does NOONE Else See the Problem with that, Anyone at all?
Didn't they change the way gear worked in Legion (Or was it WoD) so you didn't have to carry around extra gear for different specs? This seems like a backward move to me.
As is typical for Blizzard responses, we have yet another beat around the bush response which basically says they won't do anything, so here is our long winded reply to make you guys feel noticed but don't expect anything from us. A good example... the complaints about Shamans being under-tuned, no enhancements yet, only a few on elemental nothing for enhancement spec.
"There are 10 M+ dungeons, all of which drop ~10 different items per dungeon, and are all eligible to be looted from the cache (the only way to actually get the gear). This translates to a 1/100 chance to get the piece that you want, but that's only one piece."Am I the only one who has also run Mythic + dungeons since they opened never to receive the item I've run for? I've literally been running for what seems like forever to get my Gale Caller's trinket which is best in slot or one of the top BIS for my enhancement shaman never to see it drop. The drop rate on these items is pathetic and i've had more success purchasing off the AH to gear than running these dungeons with no loot to drop. Literally I never had shoudlers drop from ANY bosses running my shaman the past two weeks, nothing, and i've run dungeon after dungeon after dungeon after dungeon... did I say I ran dungeons and nothing for shoulders ever dropped? The drop rates are horrible, but im sure "this is as intended" would be the answer. I ended up getting my crappy "new" iLVL shoulders from the "warfront" which happen to suck big time especially with the Azerite traits I was given, considering those traits are at the absolute BOTTOM of the DPS charts on sims. I could go on about the frustration with getting loot this expansion, WQ do not provide decent loot, especially when trying to gear to run Uldir Heroic or Mythic. Also the Secondary stats on all of the gear is horrible and rarely what is needed for the class that is running them. It's obvious the devs have no clue how to create proper gear since we have to always go to a place like icy-veins to find out what the stat priority is supposed to be, only to find out, well guess I have to go refarm EVERYTHING again.Lets also not forget one more important thing the blizzard commentor said "Im not the only one who remembers farming lvl 30 dungeons for AQ40 am I?" Well Here's one for you.. I DID THAT TOO... but that was a whole different ball-game. And the comparison is like apples to oranges. That gear dropped frequently and was easy to farm for everyone. It wasn't super hard to obtain or for that matter utilize once obtained. So saying we need to "Re-farm" azerite gear, or any gear for that matter is somewhat insulting especially since so many of these traits are so obviously horrible and do nothing but pad a little bit of our stats, and not by much at all to make any noticeable difference. Also, here's a novel concept for blizzard, if they even pay attention to whats posted on WoWhead... hows about creating a banking system for a player similar to Diablo, wherein you can goto the bank and see what is stored from other characters and utilize those items (and don't give me the "we have bind on account items that do just that") I mean actual items of clothings, rings, weapons, trinkets, etc.... This was super efficient for Diablo, and made the game much more enjoyable instead of having to farm over and over and over and over, another word would be "monotonous" to describe how WoW becomes early on in any expansion, which leaves me and other players bored I am sure and takes the fun from the game because we can't focus on other things we would like too. They could do this, considering they have implemented Diablo features into wow already.Really sick of seeing these replies from Blizzard that essentially say "yeah thanks for your concern, it's noted, but don't expect anything to ever happen. We're happy with this buggy expansion we threw out, with unbalanced classes, artifact traits, dungeon issues, quest issues, looting issues, WQ issues, mission table issues, you name it, so lets leave it at that and call it a day, but just so you guys know we will be considering these issues for "future" improvements" (which basically means don't hold you breath).
BFA is just another expansion to test something and watch how many people complain. I hate the azertrash armor setup especially since they are requiring you to have multiple sets of armor now if you want to change specs. A better idea would have been: let's have them farm azerite power for the neck like they did for the artifact in legion but have the neck have its own talent tree that gives you the options that azertrash armor provides. This would eliminate multiple sets but still give you the option to pick which abilities you want to use. They still haven't learned that new ideas aren't always great ideas. They failed horribly with this system.
I wish people would stop threatening to unsubscribe. It makes me want to unsubscribe.Seriously, feedback is one thing, but threats that mean nothing to the bottom line mean nothing. The ebb and flow of games and game patches is at hand. If you like the game or feel that Blizz is paying attention where the game is lacking, then stay. If not, leave and return when the state becomes acceptable to you. Don't threaten to leave, no one that can do anything is going to intervene to explicitly prevent your departure. Have some dignity.
blizzard be like：yea we know but we don't know what to do about the fake tier item :D
Late to the party, but...
They are too deep over their heads now with this azerite mess and i don't think they have a way out. Azerite armor and traits are so confusing now and broken, hot fixing them only breaks something else. I used to like playing this game but the grinding to level up your gear and get the right traits on that gear has gone ballistic as of late and you just don't know where you stand anymore. This expansion feels just like reforging without a re-forger as you tweak and tweak to get things to the best you can but you never get there as mobs scale with you. Someone told me that around ilvl 300 you start to overpower the mobs but this is false as it's more like ilvl 330.I'm thinking blizz only implemented this system as it forces us to play the game with the "grind till you drop" attitude or you get weaker. This expansion does not help the casual player, just for fun player or altoholic and it's made now for the raiders and multiboxers. It's still a great game but they need to simplify things a bit as i find it's gotten out of hand and way to technical based on luck rather than skill.
Normally blizzard works hard to find out why people are upset. It almost seems to me like they are ignoring the problems outright. Am I the only one?
