This people who are saying Sylvanas action makes sense, you really have a good potential to be easily brain washed by radical groups.
Sylvanas talks about Anduin "Peacecraft" Wrynn like she thinks he's Garrosh Hellscream post-Sha, with his bloodthirsty, ravenous eyes falling upon poor Kalimdor to eat it alllll up. I guess you can excuse any strike, order any "breaking of spirits," justify anything to yourself if you are so twisted that you are convinced everyone is - must be - as twisted as you.I mean, yeah, if you kill absolutely everyone, you technically have peace, but... that's not what peace means. That's a doctor murdering all their patients because then - ta da! - none of their patients is sick anymore. *facepalm*
So, the reason for attacking Teldrassil is... Half of Sylvannas' brain is already rotten. Bright as a doormat, this one.
Darklady G.W. Bush
Kill Tyrande while you're at it, she's annoying as hell (this from an Alliance player).
Heres the thing bud that comic that came along with all those other legion comics Anduin grows old and still is king and goes to fight the void lords. I believe so either way alliance lived threw that crappy war ur undead queen started and alliance won any war after that until Anduin is super old. Bud so yea its canon that alliance will survive until then, So nothing will beat the alliance until Anduin declares war with the void lords so ur faction can go kek itself while alliance saves the universe from the void lords since we are the only ones that know that there is something much greater than ourselves and petty wars.
Awh thanks. >.<
lol morally gray
"The kaldorei will defy our occupation... unless we break their sprits. We must inflict a blow that will show them what is at stake. They need to lose something... someone... in whom they have absolute trust and faith. A symbol of hope.<The Dark Lady narrows her eyes.>Malfurion Stormrage must die."And this ladies and gentleman is how not to wage a war. Martyrs can be a hell of a rallying symbol.
So she continues to be paranoid and decides to do something that would upset the Alliance when in truth the Alliance might not strike at her, or the Horde, if everyone just minded their own business and/or discussed this new resource rationally and peacefully, like wise leaders should.Sure we can't trust anyone but deciding to occupy a city and kill one of its leaders seems very ill-adviced... Damn it, Sylvanas...Now to wait for whatever causes the utter destruction of the place.
Y'know what, I'm actually hoping she does kill Malfurion. That guy has been a jerk throughout the lore itself.
Based on this, I think Sylvanas fully intended to take Teldrassil intact for the harbor there - though maybe for it's deep connection to Azeroth itself, hence the azerite motive - but that either a Horde soldier got a little too enthusiastic about the bloodshed and set it on fire, either on purpose or by accident... or the Alliance burned it down to deny the Horde that victory. If this was the case, it would fully explain her actions at Lordaeron later as a sort of eye-for-an-eye scenario. Two wrongs don't make a right, but it would achieve the moral greyness that Blizzard wants out of this expansion.Or maybe it's another red herring, who knows at this point?
Im going to enjoy killing her, over and over again.
I begin to think that the tree has been burned by Genn Greymane.
