I’m confused why everyone keeps talking about Anduin making peace. He clearly states in this letter that this is a one-day event and it is not an offer of peace.
So anduin promises not to invite people who cause problems and then he brings taelia. I am 100% with sylvanas on this, he tricked her and then he goes all the way into making her his personal undead queen? I can’t believe how alliance biased most people are to ignore this and keep saying that the horde is evil. The alliance will pay for being unfair.
Heck, I'm an Alliance main and the unceremonious way they offed Vol'jin irritated me. I actually thought Vol'jin would make a really interesting leader for the Horde.
We never found out why "The Spirits" told Vol'jin to pick Sylvanas. He didnt want to and that storyline really was forgotten in Legion. She didn't want to be warchief either, though she is taking the responsibility and doing whatever it takes (even the dishonourable), for the horde to survive. The only motive we have seen for Sylvanas is that her forsaken continue, even though they cannot reproduce. Though having Alliance DKs also destroys the story idea for the forsaken, as they were both Scourge, that broke from Arthas' control. Remember that every forsaken, was once a member of the alliance, they are only Humans and High Elves, before the High Elves got shat on by their racist human allies and changed their name and allegiance. There are no dead Dwarves, Taurens, Nelfs, Trolls, Orcs or Gnomes among the forsaken. Though I'm sure there is a lore junkie out there that could show me otherwise. That being said, as Sylvanas was originally a high elf and her brethren are also members of the horde, I'm surprised she isn't much cosier with them
I have been keeping up with all the discussions about BfA. At first I thought Synea was totally of base with some of what they were saying and that it was too early to be this sure that Sylvanas was going to be totally evil. With every new development I agree with them more and more. I play horde exclusively and I am getting pretty fed up with being portrayed as the bad guy. I still hold out some hope that there is something we have yet to see that may shed some light on the current, seemingly pointless, reasons why our Warchief is starting this war. We need something like bad intel or an error on the alliance's part that results in the deaths of horde innocents or something along those lines. I was very excited at the announcement of the expansion as I like the idea of being at war and hope the Alliance and Horde stay at odds forever, but seriously...how can anyone see this as morally gray at this point?Synea, I now apologize for criticizing you in earlier posts. :)
Point is, Sylvanas was a great character since Warcraft III, until Blizzard decided to ruin it. Now everybody wants to kill Sylvanas and with a good reason! They decided to turn the Horde into the embodiment of evil since Cataclysm, by removing Thrall from leadership. I miss the old days where they wrote the lore without this good X evil bull$%^&, things were more realistic and interesting. Now its just about pissing horde players. Lame and shame!
Just going to make this clear; I don't hate the Horde. Horde has a lot of good characters. I don't see the Horde as a whole as evil. They're not. Sylvanas is. But she's not the whole horde.
Behold the first lie of the boy king!
