Gotta say. The auction house mobile down time thing is terrible. Every time I log in now by mailbox is full. Not being able to put my auctions up on the go have really been a great loss to my own small time gold making. :/
Using a 110 to powerlevel allied races has been the thing I've done. I don't care for those reskins (not yet until Dark Iron, of course), but I've run two of my friends from 20-90 just by powering through dungeons. We did Deadmines to about 40, Zul'Farrak to 60, Hellfire Ramparts to about 70 and Underbog to 80 (we got bored of Ramps), and finally we painfully leveled to 90 in Gate of the Setting Sun with much less efficiency. 80-90 is absolutely AWFUL in dungeons because it takes so long compared to the rest of the levels. The best part though is afterwards; you can rapidly finish leveling by collecting treasures in Draenor (90-100) and just doing the main storyline quests on the Broken Isles. My friends only did Azsuna and Val'Sharah, and only needed a single invasion after to hit 110.I didn't make them pay me anything, but we had a blast just shooting the breeze while I ran them through dungeons and babysat them. It's amazing how much fun you can have doing incredibly boring and tedious activities. I hope they don't nerf the exp from dungeons at any point, because I'd love my Dark Iron Dwarf to get this kind of fun.
80-90 is terrible. I find Grim Batol to be a much better grind than gate of the setting sun. More loot, faster runs, and less frustration all around.
80-90 is real easy if you use Stonecore. I used to use Stonecore for 80-85 in the pre-7.3.5 days. Now it's great for 82-90. Each run is about 65% of a level and it's fairly quick. You an walk into Stonecore at 80 if you get a port, but as I noted in the research, you get a 45% experience penalty on kills if you run it earlier than 82.Pandaria dungeons are not very good for powerleveling, They net around 40% per run at best due to low mob density. Stonecore has high mob density and speed.
I can't even afford to buy a piece to start with lol
What about the Stormstout Brewery for Pandaria? I remember monkey runs being a big thing back in the day because of the extreme mob density early on in there.
Don't really effect me as I don't use it anyway. Call me old school I guess I just don't use any type of addon for the AH either.
Stormstout Brewery *seems* like it would be good, but it barely gets 35-40% per run. (It used to be my go-to dungeon for getting through the Pandaria segment.) Your first run is decent because of the quests inside, but after that it's just not very good, particularly compared to Stonecore. Brewery has a long walk back to the beginning as well, so it occupies more time, though if you are just running the monkey segment then maybe you can make it pay out better. I would imagine you'd run into the 10 instance limit way too quick that way, though and would then lose an hour. Gate of the Setting Sun is a little less xp than Brewery, but it runs fast and is in a loop. Another dungeon that compares directly to Stormstout would be Grim Batol. It has a linear layout with a long walk back like Stormstout, but has more mobs. You get closer to 50% per run there.
Hexweave bag will still be profitable. I have 4 tailors with proper garrison setup that's self sufficient in terms of material generation and will churn out 1 bag every 2.5 days per character.
The fast way to get out of Grim Batol quickly is to just jump into the center area - so after last boss dies, just run back up steps and jump off - you die and when you release, you are at the door. Save a quick gear set with everything unequipped to avoid repair costs on death.
