@ jjanchan. They did say so yes. We'll have about 15-16 characters per server. Though I did not hear if they were going to increase the number of characters per account.
With these new sub classes, it kind of makes me want to faction change all my blood elves to void elves :D
At least 6 more slots :)
bleh, lightforged seem a bit OP with the racials compared the the highmountain, here's hoping one of the other horde allied races get racials that make up for it. Horde allied races do look cooler though by far, highmountain and zandalari heritage sets looking good.I'm honestly a bit surprised at all the Alliance saying they should have gotten Nightbourne and wondering why Horde got them. Did they even pay attention to how Liadrain treated them in the Suramar quests compared to Tyrande? Tyrande was a complete and total b**ch to them while Liadrin respected and related to them because of their similarities to the Blood Elves, it's so obvious, and she even has a conversation with one on th Vindicaar about how much their people have in common, it's no wonder they would choose the Horde over the Alliance.
Pretty much smoke and mirrors here. Nothing new that could not have been accomplished in the Barber Shop. Not one new race. Just subsets of the old. And after working as an Alliance player with the Highmountain Tauren and the Nightfallen for almost 2 years, I'm a bit saddened that they would tell me they were joining the Horde. Dwarves, Draenei, 2 elves, Tauren, and Trolls are already races and no set of armor is likely to make me replay them again. It's just a move to keep us playing more so they get the monthly fee with as little work as possible. Now that little fox people I got a glance of is a race I would like to play.
Love the new Races. Is there going to be add character slots?
Really like the look of the zandalari. Also I can’t wait to find out why the nightborne chose the Horde.
I hope normal draenei can use the lightforged horns, since there is one horn design i really want on my hunter
No you wont they said at blizzcon they were adding more character slots for the new allied races cant remember 100% but I believe they said 6 more slots will be opened...
Let me help some of you out. Most important thing for Blizzard: having three interesting sub-races for both Horde and Alliance that fit into the story. This means players of each faction have to make sacrifices in terms of race and class availability.Horde needs a new race, so Alliance can't have Nightborne Elves. These sub-races can't be the same as DHs for several reasons:They aren't essential to current content (as Illidan and his Illidari were for Legion), so they don't have to be "ready for action" right away. The new sub-races aren't classes, so they would basically have to give you a max-level (druid, pally, etc.) to let you start out at current content. You could use this to create high-level versions of all classes and never have to level beyond your first alt. The only way to prevent this exploit would be to gate the sub-races behind complicated and irritating requirements, which would irritate the player base.If the sub-races started at high level, giving players unique racial tmog and other rewards for leveling would make no sense. The sub-races don't have to fit PERFECTLY into the story. Starting at a low level might lead to some odd situations during leveling, but sticking to canon is not a good enough reason for removing the need for leveling entirely.Allow your imagination to fill in the gaps. If you don't look for a reason to complain, you'll almost never find one. Let's work under the assumption that Blizzard won't (and shouldn't have to) give us something for nothing. Finally and most importantly, always remember that Blizzard only cares about your money. They won't ever put something into WoW that could reduce the amount you spend on it.
For a long time i was wishing the high elves to join the alliance, but getting exiled Silvermoon elves turned into Velf is just as good. Thought they do seem to look like Death knights undead skin and kind of the same glowing flair in their eyes. BUT I am really hyped to play all the allied races! I think it is such a good idea and I have said I want to play them everyday since I found out! Hah.
A bit disappointed the "new races" were just old models and retextured models :/
Yeah, I agree. I hoped Shaldorei were neutral, too. They have brethren in both factions. Sure, their problems with addiction would be more appreciated by the Sindorei, but still. Still, I certainly don't mind splinter races and options. Also, I still wished Draenei could be warlocks. LOL.
I would like to think that when preordering this expansion, instead of just another 100 boost (or 110 boost if they add that), They would include a free race change
When I heard six new races were coming to WoW I was worried I'd have to start a new character or race change an existing one. Then I learned they were just sub-races and all really dull and ugly. So that's a relief. Worgen continue to be the best race there is.
yes they will add 6 more slots.
dont know if anybody answered your question, but yes, there will be 6 additional slots for new races
They did metion more character slots...a total of 6 per server.
Dark Iron Dwarf must have a shaman class with own totems!
