I don't raid anymore. I just can't fit four hour blocks from 7-11 into my schedule anymore. But I do have an hour here and there to play. Depending on how my next arena ambition pans out I may try to get an 80 of each class. I already have rogue, hunter, dk, lock and a 70 warrior. Sometimes leveling alts seems as fun as playing end game.
for those who seem confused as to whether or not they should continue to level their alts or wait until patch...seriously?if you enjoy playing that alt, freaking play it. is it just me or does it seem ridiculous to stop doing something that you enjoy for a minor boost in convenience that is probably 4+ months down the line? sure, walking and slow riding are tedious, but if it is an alt, you should know how to quest properly to minimize the travel time. (turning in 15 quests at once ftw!)i guess if walking $%^&es you off that much, then wait. but seriously, if u enjoy your alt, why stop playing because of getting a mount 10 levels earlier? you're being silly :p
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Another motivator to dust off retired toons/accounts would be if Blizz expanded the Recruit-a-friend program. ie you cast "scroll of resurrection" on a frozen account; that account gets reactivated and the owner pays for two months; the pair of you get the RaF status.
I think this is probably the best thing to happen to WoW in a while.Brought me back to the game that's for sure. With new and faster ways to get around Azeroth, the less time people will inevitably spend there, ironically enough. Outland will be a breeze with the new normal flying speed. All of this means that more players will be 70 earlier. This also means that more players will be instancing in the rather empty Northrend zones.More people instancing == faster levels for people in Northrend, which consequently will bring more 80's into the game. It's obvious that Blizzard was trying to both bring players back to the game, but also replenish the stale group of people sitting at 80 as we speak.tl;drI can't wait
Hmm I'm easily bored too. Especialy if I did a quest several times before (i.e. The Barrens, Ghostlands) thats why I play like an hour before I log back to one of my two 80s and the more quest I'm able to do the better.Umm and I think it's only the second best new thing after turning of any experience. :D
got a lvl 30 Druid that im gonna level to 40 and wait. 60% ground mount feels so slow.got a lvl 37 Mage on my second account that im thinking of moving over to my main account so i can continue playing (only got the second account for the RaF mount and triple-xp)got a lvl 10 bank alt that i might bring up to lvl 20 just so she can run around faster lol
A bunch of my alts got deleted...my rogue and lock (35 and 36) would have been close to getting their epic mounts. =/ But my druid and DK are 64, so I'm ready to grab their flyers as soon as the patch hits. My shaman is 13, I'll probably hit 16 next time I log on and then wait for the patch. I'm also gonna start a rogue (again =/) and get him up to 20. I would have started & played these alts anyway though. The biggest thing for me is the reduced cost and level requirement of the flyers.
