Hardly ever procs... in fact I couldn't even tell you a time when I've seen it proc. I'm sure it does though... I hope.

hi there guys.. well i got the ripsaw on my first run in ZF.. and now i have a choice between Heaven's Light and the Ripsaw...

well.. i grinded Steeljaw Snappers in Tanaris, and i can say this: out of 498 hits, the Ripsaw proced 18 times.. so i guess it has a proc rate of around 2%-4% ... on another side-note.. it only wounds the target of 40-42dmg.. NOT 75dmg :(

well that sucks.. however, im choosing the Ripsaw over Heaven's Light, due to a higher dps standard.. and Heaven's Light only fills up my mana/health bars by 2% and the ripsaw seems to proc a higher percent than that.. so Ripsaw it is! (just) (i love axes though) (and im an orc)

I'm a 49 Horde shammy on terenas. I got the Hand of Atu'Sul or whatever (also a ZF drop) as my current main hand wep. I was wondering if i should try to go after this wep or just go to BRD and ST and try to pick up some other wep, maybe a 2-hander.
I'd like some feedback guys..... should i try to replace the Hand of Atu'Sul with the Ripsaw or not?

Just got it out of ZF (My first time there). Using it with my shaman together with Aegis of the Scarlet Commander. It's nice :)

I dual wield it with Vanquisher's Sword currently, but they are both kinda slow attack speed

This is a damn nice main hand for a fury warrior. I'm still using it at level 51. Proc is about 3-4%, so that's the downside.

After killing him 15 times he finally drops it!

I was the only axe user in the group so I got it by default.

To add spite to my misery, the next 3 times i come to kill him he dropped the stupid axe every time.

I hate my luck.

I'm such a noob, i use this with my hunter and vanquishers sword. I should probably try for something else since this has no stats to help me but i can't be arsed to find an alternative a the moment. I agree it looks kinda gay but looks good in its own right.

Not quite as good as the Thrash Blade from Mara, but still a really solid Axe.
The proc rate is crappy, but the base damage is great and if it does proc it's like free real estate.
