if you have a decent mainhand this seem to be the better of the 2 rewards.

for a lvl 25 warlock thats a full heal over 30sec(750 hp is more then my lock has at 25)

What quest do you have to do to get this thing. Both Horde and Alliance?

I'm not sure is it for both horde and alliance,And you have to go to Blackfathom Deeps and Shadowfangs keep and collect things ^^

the quest is recived from a guy sitting in the barrens. he is standing beside the guy for the allience succumbus quest for 20 warlocks. they are both allience so im pretty sure horde cant get it.

I am a 27 Undead Warlock, and I was able to get this quest. The human quest giver conned neutral to me (yellow). However the quest giver stands very close to a human that was aggressive toward me (red). I stood on the far side from him though and did not draw aggro.

The location of this quest is in The Barrens at 49,53.

The quest is near camp taurajo, but it is across from the camp past the road a bit. it is near two tents by a tree.....there are two alliance people, one for the lvl 20 succubus quest, and one for this quest. once you do that, go to the other places to get the shattered orb. return to the questgiver and he will fix it up for you.

Ok, i've been looking for a group or someone to run with me since it was friggin orange. Now its grey, and i ran with another warlock buddy of mine. We could solo the elites alone, no sweat (i'm lv 33, and he's lv 32) but those friggin adds was just troublesome. This would have been a bigger plus to me if i had done it levels ago, but 1000XP barely made a dent, plus the fact that since im so high, i couldnt farm shards because most of the mobs until you get to where the pieces were, were too low for me ( i needed lv 26 and up). It was a test in using my imp i tell you that. We wiped due to adds, but i was determined not to come back. It was my first time doing BFD anyways, so i was unsure where to go, or if i was going the right way. After about 3-4hrs we reached the place. The pluses on the shadow spells are nice, but i can make a firestone which is +10 on fire spells. Like i said, it would have been great if i had done it at a much more lower lv. Good luck to all!

This item is not bugged. The health regeneration effect it provides does not work in combat like almost all other regen effects.

Does anyone else have this orb? Is it just me, or is the use feature on this bugged? I get the 30 min cooldown for it, but my health doesn't seam to be restoreing any faster.
