Quite possibly the best staff for it's level in the game. Be sure to get this quest done if you play on the Horde. All you have to do is kill all of the bosses in Wailing Caverns and you'll get it.

Makes an excellent staff for:
-Hunters
-Mages
-Priests
-Druids
-Warlocks

this staff is good all the way through to about level 35, depending on what other weapons you find between when you get it, around 25, and then. I was able to get up to full staff experiance with it (staff skill learned when i got the staff) in one hour as a level 18 hunter.

This is a quest reward for a quest that you can pick up at lvl 18.
"I got it at 15." "I found it in Duskwood." "I saw it in AH but then I found it in a chest."
... WTF are you just making up random bs to post here? /boggle

I just made an evil plan for my shammy. I'll go to WC, do quests, do runs aand the resulsts shudda be:
this nice staff for healing
stinging viper + seedcloud buckler
embrace of the viper

OMG if I could collect all this stuff in a reasonable time... ownsXD

Wohhoho i calculated a bit and it turns out that i should have the whole !@#$ in ~6 runs. What do you say? Or f**k the droprates, i won't even have it from 60?:D

I like the Living Root staff gotten off of the Big Tree (Verdan) in WC better :) More damage, faster, 12 Wisdom, 2 Stam, 5 Nature Resistance. Then I added +3 Int. I have other good stuff for Int, like Black Velvet Robes. I wish it wasn't BoP :P

well then i would pay 20 s for evry int 3+ or more on my stuff (each)
and btw im lvl 24 and got 1595 mana :P

Everybody goes around with this thing on. I must admit I saw a lvl 15 with it, and it is a verrrrry good weapon. But I'm more happier with my Odo's Ley Staff!

Want to get it for my BE hunter. It's better then Emberstone or Advisor's Gnarled Staff for 18 lvl.

Love this staff. As a lvl 21 Warlock, this staff is amazing. I enchanted it with an extra 3 intellect and now I acn use it far beyond lvl 25.

the sword or the staff for my shamen, i want the mace that one of the leaders drops, too though, im going to keep going through this cave until i comlete the phang set, but which would you recomend over the reward, btw shamens cant use swords

actually no this is better one less int but hey better on the other stats...also u can get this at like lvl 13 if u put the effort into it...i like emberstone though only cause it looks kool

or you could go to the trouble of getting emberstone staff from VC and that is a hell of alot better with its int. get a +int to it and u could keep it for ages. do it...cmon...u know u want to :P

Got this at lvl 18..put weapon dmg +1 on it myself, it looks awesome, and hits good.

lol, this staff SHOULD be good enough to keep until lev 34 when you get illsionary rod. get this staff as soon as possible

Actually a good weapon for a warrior. This is not a joke. While leveling a higher damage range and DPS is more vital than any stats which offer only marginal benefits until higher levels (Strength offers very little early on in such small amounts). Spirit is also a great leveling stat to increase HP regen, which means less downtime, and it's more valuable in smaller numbers compared to Strength. This staff will last a good while as a warrior, and you can always find a decent one hander elsewhere for the times you need to tank or use a shield.

This is a sick staff for warriors too. Got it at level 20 for my orc warrior. Leveled my 2h staff skill with quillboars, and proceeded to sweep the raptor den near Northwatch hold clean with this staff and freshly gained Cleave skill.

Not an axe, but so good stats that it's worth using anyways. This is also very easy to get.
