you need to have high cenarion rep for him to send you this? I've been turning in texts to him for a while. Have found about 10 sets of blue plans, and the only scrolls he's given me are for the templars.

About scrolls:

There are 3 levels of scrolls and 4 different types:

Each scroll can be water/air/fire/earth

Scrolls to create crest is used for lesser windstones.
Scrolls to create signet is used for windstones
Scrolls to create scepter is used for greater windstones.

Basically what it does is summon type of elemenental of type of the scroll you possess:

Example if you have Scpeter of Beckoning: Fire: it when you summon Baron/Lord (mob from greater windstones) the mob will be 100% Firebos..(if you have water scepter itll be waterboss ect).

When you give twilight enyripted texts to hermit ordell he'll send you a package later on, and inside of that there might be a scroll: create XXXX of Beckoning: XXXX. But Scepters are random tho it seems to me that they are more rare then Crests of beckoning or signets. Ive sent like 300 texts and still no scepter:S

"scroll you possess" ...it should be scepter that you possess (haveing scroll while summoning doesnt do anything..you need to have scepter made)

PS: Scepters are consumable..aka if you have 1 scepter of beckoning: fire for exaple and youll summon fireboss, this scepter is consumed after summon:(

I turned in my first 10 "Encryted Twilight Text" to Hermit Ortel and later I received this item to create a Scepter of Beckoning:Water.....I do not recall what level of Rep I have, but after just looking....I have as of now 1138/3000 and that is still saying neutral for CC. Someone above stated that you have to have HIGH REP in order to receive this item. To answer that question: You do not have to have high rep to receive this quest....all you need is to turn in the "Encryted Twilight Text" and you will probably receive on of the Scepters of Beckoning. There was another statement that did also say that you did not need to have high Rep and that one is right the one above that is not right about the high rep.

You don't need to attain any specific reputation to acquire this. I'm still neutral with Cenarion Hold, and after turning in my first 10 texts, I received the scroll for this sceptre. Unfortunate that it's a single-use item though.

Do you need these to summon the people from the windstones or is it used just to assure that ull get that element?

Scroll is not needed to summon mobs from Windstone, but to make sure what type of Boss it summons. so far.. without Scroll, the result will be randomed

If you have a sceptre of beckoning, do you need the other mats too?
