i was bored one day....nothing to do...sittin looking at the AH and some warrior (lvl 57 with backhand doomsaw = \) said price check on this blade...of course im rich...i had like 600g on me...(found 2 kang decapitators...in 4 days..sold both = ) 300g) and i said ill buy it for 70g...he said i dont no...so i said 70g with a crappy uncommmom item(necklance) and that changed his mind i guess... so yeah got for 70g plus a necklace whcih would go up to 75 so not bad for my part...wow..170g...if i sold it instead of equiping....i would of made 100g profit...owell looks nice with fiery/crusader/icy....and yes i got personal enchanter and he echanted these for 10g each time....till i found the one i liked....(crusader)

I know he is rare. I have sense undead can i see him on that. Can someone please take a picture of him so i know what i'm looking for.

now lvl 60 still hunting for it i ride round the place and cant find him... the only elites round there i see are the sarlet people. i put undead tracker on and he dont show and is he an elite?

was there for a Q...stopped to like whats in thoose things he spawns near, he jumped me and i didnt see he was an elite untill i had killed him... hehe..first kill of the day, just randomly walking there, and he dropped it.

Found and killed Deathscythe earlier today. The mobs around him we're really annoying. I ran back and forth to where he was, to be chased by mobs again and again. I killed them, then I killed Deathscythe, and what do you know, he drops the sword and a scourgestone :>

Sell prices on Cenarius are 60-100g ^^.

The guy that drops this sword looks like all other undead skeletons and he wanders around 35,35 in EPL i think.

I sold this sword for 44 gold 31 silver and 2 copper and nothing less.

I'd been wondering about this for a long time before I got this blade, so I figured I'd post about it. The Arcane damage shows up as part of the normal damage, there's no indicator of how much or little Arcane damage you've actually done. However, if you hit a mob that resists Arcane damage (Scarlet Tracking Hounds in WPL, for instance), you'll see something like "You hit Scarlet Tracking Hound for 150 damage (4 resisted)" or whatever the appropriate numbers would be. I imagine it'd be a poor weapon to be using in Dire Maul: West, but there are better weapon options long before getting there.

Nice strong blade either way.

i got this blade a few days ago, and no1 wants to buy it! i ask only 30g, but still no use. Some advice pls?

I bought it for 8g the other day and sold it for 11.
You should not charge more than 12-15g if you want to sell it since there are lots of better weapons in that level range.
As an example i bought my Lord Alexander's battleaxe for 12g, in my opinion that axe is better than this sword.

I'm nearly a level 50 gnome warrior at the moment, and I saw this on AH at 20 gold and bought it. Seemed like a low price on my server, where high level blues go for much more normally.

I had rolled an epic ring in Ulda that got me 100+ gold, so I figured I'd splurge and get this.

My question is this: I am now using Blade of Titans, and the str and stam boost are great for me. At 52, would I be better with a lower dps weapon (like lord alexander's axe, man I want that) with a good str/stam/or agil buff, or this weapon with it's extra dps? If I could do much better reasonably, I don't think I would have a problem selling this for more than I bought it for.

I'm specced arms as of now, btw.

2 of them have been floating around in the IF trade channels and on the AH for days now, same two people, one of them is my guildie. Price started around 150g on both, has been dropping because nobodys buying them, around 100g each right now I believe. My point? Not necessarily the best item to hunt for cash.

This sword is the best sword ive found for a sword using mortal strike build(which is what i am if u didnt get the hint). Ive gotten hits for 1k and higher, max being 1102 dmg to a drake in burning steppes using mortal strike.

very underrated sword, also a very powerful sword.

Who would use this? Who does arcane dmg that can use 2h sword? pally no, shaman no, druid can't use 2h sword, warrior doesn't do spells.

Got mine for 14g on AH! Was on short time left also. Apparently prices have crashed this server (Hellscream, horde side).

Lol bought 3 2h swords in the past 2 days, was Warmonger, Demonslayer and now this

I got this for 20g, I was going to pay 28 but the seller insisted, what a nice guy ! It looks kind of small though = / but it's fun to have.

This weapon works pretty good just got one. It doesnt look so hot unless you like the 2hand Katana look though. Its a very thin long sword that looks like a samuria(spelling?) sword.

Being a plate wearing Paladin its wierd look but it works well. Got mine as a hand me down from guild member who must have farmed/won in fight with that named.

If i can figure out how to take decent Screen shot I'll submit one.

I farmed for this sword on my 60 a while back and saved it for my Warrior. My warrior hit 52, and I was so excited to finally use this sword, then I got an IBS about 6 hours later, oh well...

Anyway, I was still playing around with it for fun and could not see any arcane damage. Should the arcane damage come up as yellow? All I was seeing was large white damage numbers (nothing in the 1-20 range). Is it including the arcane damage in the white damage number? Is it not displaying the arcane damage? Is my Songblade defective?

If it is adding the damage in with the white damage, how is it bypassing armor? I was killing Firegut Ogres in Burning Steppes. I doubt they're immune to arcane, even if they were, I'd expect to see "immune" spam on every hit or something.

actually, combine this with a warlock's Curse of Shadow and watch the wielder's dps go up even more. should be nice on a boss, especially in a 5 man group.

Had a guildie get this sword for me at level 52, it took 10 minutes. It's an amazing sword for it's level and the damage is amazing, perfect for a warrior(also looks pretty cool). If you can get this sword at it's level requirement, do it, it'll last you till the higher level instances.

Here's a pic of my Warrior with it. Was a nice weapon...till I got my Ice Barbed Spear. I got the Songblade in the AH for 17g minimum bid...not many Warriors think to look in swords for MS weapons.

love the bonus arcane dmg. that portion at least totally bypasses the dmg reduction from your targets armor, giving a larger net amount of dmg.

I was just running around EPL, farming argent dawn rep and I saw Lord Darkscyth, I couldn't resist the chance to kill him so did and got this sword along with an corruptor's scourgestone. Will try to get 80g off of it on the Gorefiend alliance AH.

Why would you waste your time and money on this go do a AV and get a IBS its SOOOO much better and the stats on IBS are just insanse if your lvl 51
