this is obtained by choosing the Infernal rather than the Felhound for your orb quest. i made the mistake of this and it pisses me off blizzard doesnt let u see what you're getting first, or even do both.

your warlock play style probably fits the staff better (i.e., not this orb).

Also took the wrong path and ended up with this instead of the shadow version. Annoyed the hell out of me when I found out, the quest should be more clear about the consequences of your choice.

This orb sucks. I got it without realizing it has a 30 minute cooldown. If that wasn't bad enough, its on the same timer as your health stone. Ie. if you use the orb, you won't be able to use your health stone until the (4 min?) healthstone cooldown timer expires.

/rant ok this orb doesnt suck, this orb is actually pretty good, up to 14 fire damage, and 400 health of 30 seconds, the staff is only 5 more fire damage and 1 more intellegence, personal i would rather take the 400 health over the 1 point of intellegence /rant off
