When this item procs it does about 100 damage and not the 15-25 damage listed.

the proc does what is listed, and only applies to melee attacks, not ranged.

So when it procs it adds the damage to your normal melee attack? You don't have to be attacking with fists?

I use the Vilerend Slicer:

Both with Fiery Enchant along with these gloves. The procs are insane, and if I get close enough to a caster, and a Hunter, I can not only keep them from getting away, but prevent them from casting spells for an extended period of time.

The combination of these gloves and these fist weapons and the four possible procs, equals some unbelieveable DPS.

in patch 1.10 they now look like (instead of that icky 5% proc to do crappy Fire damage):

Molten Fists
215 armor
+10 agility
+11 stamina
+11 intellect
+10 fire resistance

slap an agility enchant on these and they are great for MC

btwe yes they are a hunter item.

Tbh I am a warrior and I wouldnt mind these at all for FR gear. Atm using the crap https://www.wowhead.com/classic/item=19094/cinturão-de-tecido-lançatroz for FR. Yeah these are mail but 11sta/10sta is superb in conjunction with the 10FR. Still if a mail user wanted these I would pass so dont bother bashing me for "noob warrior ninjaing mail stuff".

Listen up, warriors are able to use mail, but shamans cant go rolling for your plate armor? At end-game you will sell these right away and get plate. Let us hunters or shamans roll on this.

Anyone saying "warriors shouldn't wear these they're not plate" vastly underestimates the importants of the stats combined with the FR. The 150 or so armour difference between these and Fiery Plate Gauntlets is irrelevent by comparison.

In MC every 10 FR is a big deal, and these are great, and recommended by my guild's warrior class officer.

For the record, I was in a guild run when these dropped, and no one else wanted them. I would certainly have stood aside for a hunter, but the hunter already had them. Why does everyone assume that if you have something "out of class" you must have ninja'ed it from it's rightful owner? Seriously, people, think about it. Not every drop is wanted by its intended class, and sometimes another class can still get good benefits.

Oh, and I'm a level 60 in a guild doing MC and I wear these, so anyone saying these are "useless to an endgame warrior" has never been in MC with a shortage of DKP and a need for FR.

Molten fists use to have a proc of every so often it would do 100 or so fire damage then in a patch they changed it to 10 Fire resist so its not that he's retarded, hes just been playing the game longer than you and items in this game can change, sort of how thunderfury is now 1-hand

This procs heaps and is great with a fiery weapon enchant. Only works in melee I think though.

The proc wasn't really that great for shamans on these gloves. They were however insane for fury warriors who have more swings than shamans.

Warriors can still get Fiery Plate Gauntlets if they are really keen on it.

However, the lack of stats made it a bit of a downer. The proc isn't anything worth getting all hot about, looked just like having Fiery Weapon or Flametongue on you.

Agreed that the straight stats were a buff on these.

I got these the first run through for MC attunement. I was the only mail-wearer in the party (Hunter on Alli side) so they let me need on them. Not sure what people are talking about with the proc though.. item description doesn't say anything about chance to do anything special.

These gloves are pretty good for MC gear now. Removed the proc and gave it some stats. Nice for hunters and shamans.

Glad I didnt vendor the gloves while i had them pre-1.10 patch.

ROFL, I did BRD last night (first since 1.10) and saw Molten Fists drop. Two shamamies in the group and thought "well, they'll love the proc" and passed to the surprise of everyone else in the group.

After I passed and one of the shammies got these, I checked and saw that these got a MASSIVE BUFF in 1.10 patch! I cried quietly for a minute.

Then a SICK +agi BoE cape dropped 3 kills later, and the group gave it to me since I was so "generous" with the gloves LOL.

I've been killing ambassador for like 6 times now and theese gloves has never doped, but the back has dropped 4 times -.-
