While the stats seem custom made for Warlock Tank, especially considering it's the only dagger with armor, the attack speed makes it unfortunately suboptimal in terms of threat. Since your swing timer resets every time you use an ability, you will never actually melee swing if you spam cast Searing Pain, since the GCD is the same time as the swing timer. So even though the stats are objectively worse, the speed alone makes the Sun-Touched Crescent the better weapon (at least in terms of threat)
