I just completed this quest on my 83. I went there and attacked him, you will get a NPC to come help you..I held aggro the entire time so I just got completely worked and died fairly fast. The NPC killed him and I got credit, I didn't release until then. Just a tip :)

Don't worry if other people are fighting him when you get there. If you put some damage on him - even a little - you will get credit whether you tagged him or not.

When I did this quest a pair of Immortal Colossi appeared from nowhere and grabbed the attention of the NPCs that were supposed to assist me, so it's possible you'll be fighting Tekahn solo.

first of all: This quest chain is awesome!

Just did this as a lvl 84 arcane mage. Easy fight. Just be sure to walk away from the beams the collosus attack with! These do massive dmg on cloth.

This was easy as a 84 Shaman. Sent in my rock pet to hold his argo and started DPS spells, help came in and he was dead in about 2 minutes

I killed him solo as an 84 rogue. Died, ran back, while the NPC was still fighting him, still got credit.

Win? I think so.

I was looking at this site, for tactics how to kill him and when i looked in WoW i got credit?

Is that like a bug or just a awesome glitch?

So. I've completed the quests leading up to The Fall of Neferset City. And now I can't find anymore.
Can someone please give me some advice as to where fresh quest chains start in Uldum? I've searched and searched. I don't know if my char is bugged by the "Phasing" .. Some help would be highly appreciated.

i have this same problem too and i already finish harrison jones quests. But I went to the obelisk where harrsion jones was to check if i missed some quests. Then i found a corpse with the quest Pela luz das estrelas

I am having trouble with this quest.. I abandoned it by mistake - and can't pick it back up. Seems i am stuck in the wrong phase, to talk to the guy who gives it at the start. I've been waiting on a ticket response for nearly a week, but might be able to get it done if I can figure out where this quest chain first starts - any ideas?

If you are stuck at 60 completed quests like I was, go to the Obelisk of the Stars and fly down into the chamber. Find the body, accept the quest and turn it in to Harrison Jones on other side of the room.

im stuck at 58 quests. and i have done the first harrison jones quests, the rope quest and the dead body of Schotts. last quest i did was fall of neferset city. and now i cant find any more quests.

Blizz must have fixed this, I died, the NPC's killed him and I DID NOT get credit for the quest....

This was pretty easy to solo as a level 84 Balance Druid. I buffed myself with Flask of the North and Mark of the Wild, and then opened up with my usual rotation. I sent in my treants, then used Starfall. Use CD's accordingly, and pay attention to procs such as Shooting Stars. Also, stay out of the solar beams.

Soloed as 84 Hunter, took him down fairly easily with the help of the NPCs. No need to let them get the kill.

Ok after you finish this quest if you're having problems finding more quests like I was. Go to Nahom by Halls of Origination. I found one quest there and I think that fixed my problem.

I found a quest giver in the Chamber of the Stars SW of the main mechanism. He continued the quest chain and I went to the Obelisk of the Sun and Schnottz Landing and on...he was hard to see but I don't know how I overlooked him.

If you, like me, can't find any more quests about 60ish quests into Uldum, check your inventory for A.I.D.A Communicator.

EDIT: Also check Adarrah in Ramkahen (54.3, 35.3).

I cannot take on this quest and think it is the only thing between being 95/108 and completing the zone!

I really need help if anyone can offer advice. This NPC only offers me a quest in HoO. I did the prisoner quests, but never did The Fall of Neferset City, and cannot figure out how to begin this event!

This guy is not easy, even with some help from the good guys. The issue my feral had was that your helpers will cause him some DPS damage but since you started the fight, you will have all the aggro. The good news is that he is slow, so you can run off and make an attempt to heal yourself, which worked for me. Melee fighters with no healing abilities are going to have a tough time. Also, just for fun, the statues will throw a light beam at you that causes about 3-4K damage per second but it's like the fight with Brann in the Halls of Stone - just dodge it and it's not really a big problem. I get the impression from the fight, and from what others wrote, that if you just stayed out of his range for awhile, your helpers would get him to the point where you could finish him off.

Put him down on my 85 Assassin Rogue, not too difficult. Jumped on him right on the stairs and stayed there, didn't bother with moving him away from the statues. I have glyph of kick which was key to me not taking too much damage (reduces cooldown to just 4 sec on successful interrupts). If you're having problems, really focus on catching him when he's casting is big hurt. Just used a typical boss rotation for Assassy Rogues and used all CD's. My ave gear level is only 325 (not even eligible for heroics, lol) but still did decent dps at 6800. took 52 seconds to land about 350k dmg on him so the NPC's only accounted for about 40k.

Very easy took less than 40 sec with lv84 enh shamman, just use all ur buffs and nail him.

After completeing this quest, I searched for 2 hours trying to find new quests, I have completed 105 quests in this area and am unable to find any others. Harrison Jones chain is complete, any ideas are welcome.

Level 83 Frost DK, took him out easy without dieing. Fly in behind him, throw Army of Dead then get his attention with Howling Blast. Two NPC's will go after the guards. Another NPC will help with the main mob.

Just soloed as 84 Assassination Rogue. Opened with Garrote, mute twice, throw up rupture, and had crip poison on both blades so it would for sure hit, and then just ran around, reengaging to throw up 5-point ruptures. easy.

100k XP For free, as 83 Fury warrior i just Intercepted, kept on dpsing and popped Enraged Regeneration and kept on dpsing him and finished with about 70% health. Easy as pie when listening to Viking Metal.

You don't need to fight the Colossi. Spend all your dps on the Dark Pharoah. When he goes down, the fight is over.

Also, if you find someone else has already tagged him for this quest (even from the opposite faction) all you have to do is get one shot in before he dies and you will get the credit for the quest. I put down just out of his range to buff up and ready myself when a horde char took him on. I waited until he had about 10% health left and put up one dot. He went down, I got credit.

Soloed as 83 ret pally, GS 6776, iLvl 300, 81K health, Dev Aura, Seal of Insight, Kings. Straight up fight starting w/Ex, then HoJ, beat the poop outta Dark Pharoh and leave others alone, Zeal when it triggers. Didn't even need to pop heals.

84 Resto Sham, fairly easy, no special procedures. I did pull him down the stairs away from the statues. Otherwise, I never even really lost much hp or mana.

I soloed this guy outside of the quest as a level 83 survival hunter with a bear as a pet. i had aspect of the fox on and wyvern stinged one of Tekahn's guards and left the other one targeting my pet, i spammed mend pet every few seconds and attacked Tejahn doing serpent sting, explosive shot and black arrow while running around using cobra shot. took about a minute and neither me or my pet died.

I just took him out in about 30 sec. with lvl 83 beast mastery hunter. Flew in, landed on the steps in front of him, sent in pet and let loose on him. The NPC's took care of the statues for me- so I didn't even have to bother with them. Put some heals on my pet while he attacked, used regular rotation of shots, and he was down. Easy kill.
