Got this for my affliction lock 1st run, alot better than the cloak i had before with its +crit and with a good group a nice easy instance.

This is actually the best pre-KZ raiding cloak. Decent stats, damage and spell hit make this cloak pretty amazing.

A good balance of +spell hit, Stamina and Intellect make this my cloak of choice for tanking Krosh Firehand in Gruul's Lair. There are higher +stamina cloaks out there but once you're above a certain level of stamina anyway, it's important to look at +hit and +intellect.

Well, actually it's one of the best for desto specced locks too. They don't have any spellhit talents for desto spells so this can help until the cloak from prince.

I would say that, now that this is available, it is arguably a better choice in most cases. Not that this is bad, but it's no longer the best pre-Kara cloak, IMO. (Unless the STA and INT mean that much to you. ;) )
